HISTORY NAME NUSANTARA

Nusantara == ==
In the year [[1920's]], [[Ernest Francois Eugene Douwes Dekker]] ([[1879 ]]-[[ 1950]]), known as Dr. [[Setiabudi]] (grandson of the brother Multatuli), introduces a name for Indonesia, which does not contain elements of the word "Indian". No other name is'' '''Archipelago', a term that has been submerged for centuries. Setiabudi took the name from [[Pararaton]], codex era [[Majapahit]] found at [[Bali]] in the late 19th century and translated by [[JLA Brandes]] and published by [[Johannes Krom Nicholaas]] in [[1920]].

The definition proposed Nusantara much different Setiabudi archipelago understanding of Majapahit era. At the time of Majapahit, Archipelago is used to name the islands outside Java (''between''in [[Sanskrit]] denotes the outside, opposite) as opposed to Jawadwipa''''(Island of Java). [[Linguistic Theories]] of [[Gajah Mada]] written "lt''lost huwus archipelago,''isun amukti palapa" (If you've lost across the islands, then I enjoy a break).

By Dr. Setiabudi Majapahit era archipelago said that connotes''rage''was given a nationalistic sense. By taking the word [[Malays]] between the''original'', the archipelago now has a new meaning of "homeland between the two continents and two oceans", so Java was included in the definition of the modern archipelago. The term of this archipelago of Setiabudi quickly became popular as an alternative use of the name of the Dutch East Indies.

To this day remains the archipelago term used to refer to Indonesia.
